Applications for position of CEO invited
Athlone Town Football Club has a proud history within Irish football and is, indeed, the oldest football club in Ireland currently playing in the Airtricity League. Having moved into a new stadium in Lissywoolen in 2007, the Board of the club are determined to take the necessary steps to lead the Club into a new era of financial stability as well as success on the field of play. Further to this, the Board are seeking to recruit an energetic and driven professional to take on the role of CEO.

2012 AGM
Athlone Town FC AGM will take place on Thursday 9th February in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel at 9pm.All nominations or motions (must be by two ordinary members) to be delivered in writing no later than close of business on Thursday 2nd February to The Secretary, Athlone Town FC, Athlone Town Stadium, Lissywoollen, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Under 17s win DDSL Taffe Under 17 League Cup
Athlone Town Under 17s were victorious in the final of the Taffe Under 17 League Cup held at the AUL Complex, Clonshaugh, Dublin when they defeated Dundalk FC by a score of 2-0 courtesy of second half goals from Alex Gardener and Alan Coffey.
